Mardi Himal Trek - 11 Days

Our airport representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. After check in to hotel, trip briefing will be provided and escort you to Typical Dinner. Overnight at Hotel

Our city Professional Guide will take you to most beautiful places at the valley. Today, you will visit Pashupatinath Hindu Temple, Big stupa Boudhanath, Monkey Temple and Durbar Square with local landmarks visit. Overnight at Hotel.

After Breakfast at Hotel, you will transfer to Kathmandu airport and take a pleasant flight to Pokhara with Himalayan views. After Landing at Pokhara airport, you will escort to hotel. You will have free time to explore and hang around lake side. Take a boat and visit Tal Barahi Temple, visit cave and Devi’s fall will be optional activities. Pokhara is a beautiful city of Nepal where you can observe the views of Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Overnight at Hotel

After packing your trekking gears, we will drive to Kande for 45 minute than trek with Himalaya Family staff to Pitam Deurali. The trails from Kande to Australian camp is steeply walk and short downhill to Pothana than gradually climb to Pitam Deurali with the peaceful walk through villages and jungle. Overnight at Deurali lodge.

Leaving Deurali, we skip the mail route of Annapurna Base Camp and take the non crowed trail to Mardi Himal to the right direction and keep on a calm track throughout a thick jungle of Pines,oak, maple, hemlock, rhododendron and bamboos. After four hours walk to the jungle will take us at the clearing of the dense forest at Forest Camp shelter where we will take our lunch then continue up to Low Camp. Walking through the forest as we ascend the vegetation began to change with more trees of rhododendron and others. There are few lodges at Low camp with the hikers’ facilities. Overnight at Low Camp.

After Breakfast at Low Camp, we head for High Camp, an hour and 30 minute climb throughout rhododendron forest take us to Badal Danda. From here, its offers eye-catching view of Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna II and Machhapuchhre. The trail continues next to Mardi Himal ridge mostly on grassland meadow with some isolated rhododendron along the way. There is also the chance to see wild birds like a colorful Pheasant, Munal and more during our walking trail. There will be stunning views of High Himalayas from High Camp. Overnight at High Camp.

Today we will take early Breakfast with the beautiful sunrise, and then hike up the ridge towards Mardi Himal Base Camp. There is a fixed trail from side to side the grassland with a connect of steeper section though generally not much difficult. We can see yaks are grazing over here as well as birds and some other animals. In these areas, sheep and goats from down villages are brought up to here for graze in summer time. So, we will bypass a number of huts by the side of the way. Within few hours we will get to Mardi Himal Base Camp at the altitude of 4500 meter where one can give the impression of being into the Annapurna asylum and the outlook view is impressive looking at southern facade of Annapurna and many more peaks of this region. After that, we will slowly back to High cam and take our lunch then all the way back to Badal Danda. Overnight at Hotel.

Heading back to Siding, we get a diverse route so finishing a main circuit trail from Low Camp that goes steeply downhill to Siding village. This village is a long-established cultural Gurung village. The people from Siding village, who run the lodges at Low camp. It is a superb enriching experience finding out about this village living styles and we will perhaps taste the Local food Dal Bhat. Overnight at Siding.

After Breakfast at Siding, we will walk to the Lumre village to get the road where we will take our transport back to Pokhara, during our walk from Siding we will pass two village Kalimati and Ghalel where we will see multi culture of Gurung and Brahmin People. We will take tourist transport from Lumre which is organized by Himalaya Family Adventure. Overnight at Pokhara.

Today, we will take afternoon flight to Kathmandu. We will have time for last minute shopping and hang around Pokhara. Himalaya Family representative will wait us at Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel. We will have farewell dinner and share our trip experiences. Overnight at Hotel
