You will leave Kathmandu valley early in the morning for the seven hours journey. The moment we leave Kathmandu valley you will witness the views of the Annapurna Himalayas in the west and the peaks of Langtang region ahead. You will be continuing trek through the forest. Further, you pass through the Nepal Army post. Heading forward you will start seeing yak. Next, you will see the reminiscence of the 2015 earthquake, the place where used to be a lot of lodges. Mundu is now a few minutes away. Now here are only a few old houses are left and the rest are rebuilt in new ways.

Day 6: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa

Heading towards the destination, you will be passing through the yak pastures and small streams. Passing the kyanjin, you can see the monastery and you can also see the cheese factory established by the Nepal government. You will reach there by lunchtime and start exploring it for the rest of the day. You can visit the monastery, climb kyanjin Ri 4450m. for the acclimatization and enjoy the spectacular glaciers of Langtang Lirung.
