Annapurna Region
The mythical Annapurna area is the utmost assorted and common trekking region in Nepal. From the complete 21 days circuit, which bounces into the extraordinary Mustang area to short three-day treks, there's a trek fit for everybody here.
As the title recommends, the Centre section of this part of Nepal is the series of mountains that includes Annapurna I, the first of the 8,000 m. peaks to be ascended. Also encompassed in this area is yet another 8,000 m. massive, Dhaulagiri, which is situated west of Annapurna I.
Among these two massifs lies the gorge of the Kali-Gandaki River, the deepest gorge in the world. Trekkers meet the stimulating Thakali societies in this section. They are recognized for being worthy in commercial schemes and their home-based cooking is appreciated by both travelers and the local people in over-all.
Outlooks of plush, productive farmland and unobstructed natural jungles, snow-capped highlands, and meets with a blend of many racial societies, all enhance up to an assorted range of practices that create the Annapurna trek one of the greatest satisfying treks between all destinations in Nepal.
The Annapurna shackle of mountains lies central, instigating a huge area counting Manang and Mustang to drop in the rain shadow, where the idyllic time for trekking is through the rainy season as there is no drizzle and temperatures are modest in these areas.
These parts are significantly drier than the southern part of the mountains. This leads to dry land that is desert-like and very dissimilar from regions subordinate down where there are green meadows and lush wilderness.
