Trek to Everest via Hillary Route is the dream destination for every trekker. There are two routes to reach the base camp; one begins from Lukla and the other begins from Jiri. The trek from Jiri to Everest Base Camp is one of the adventurous and thrilling trekking routes. Mostly this route is chosen by the experience and adventure-loving trekkers. This trekking route is also famous as a classic route to Everest. Jiri itself is a highlight of the journey as Jiri is said to be Switzerland of Nepal.

The main highlights of this trek are; Monasteries, mountain views, alpine and rhododendron forests, mountain villages, rivers, and the locals. This trek is mainly referable to physically fit people. You will have an amazing view from the viewpoint of Kalapattar. This route from Jiri is longer than the route from Lukla. Since the itinerary is long, we can enjoy the mountains a little longer with steady acclimatization. You will be viewing beautiful mountain ranges throughout the journey. This trekking route was used by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary in their Mt. Everest expedition in 1953.

This trek will immerse you in the authentic Nepalese experience. Along with Mt. Everest you will get to view many other mountain ranges. Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

After your arrival in TIA, our representative will be waiting for you to guide through the streets of Kathmandu and reach your selected hotel. In the evening you can roam the local areas nearby the hotel and the heritages nearby. You can go through the maps and outlines of the trip at the night.

Day 2
Drive from Kathmandu to Bhandara (2190m/7185ft)

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and commence the trek with a drive of 8 to 10 hours to Bhandara. We will pass through Banepa and Dhulikhel, our route passes through Araniko Highway. We will see the views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Dorjee Lakpa. We will move towards Panchkhal and ascend the ridge behind Dolalghat alongside the Sunkoshi river and then reach Jiri. We will continue the drive to Bhandara which will be our place for the night.

Day 3
Trek from Bhandara to Sete (2575m/8848ft)

Finishing breakfast, we will start our trek towards Sete. We will walk for around 4 to 5 hrs to reach Sete. You will see many villages with different community people on the way. overnight in the local tea house in Sete.

Day 4
Trek from Sete to Junbesi (2670m/8759ft)

Leaving Sete, we will gradually climb to Lamjura pass viewing amazing mountains and rhododendron forests. We will be walking for 8 to 9 hours. We will head towards Goyem which is the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar, we will also have lunch here. Then, we will walk downhill to Trangdobuk and reach Junbesi. Overnight in a guesthouse in Junbesi.

Day 5
Trek from Junbesi to Nunthala (2220m/7283ft)

Continuing the trail, we will walk for 6 hrs to reach Nunthala via Solu by climbing a ridge. We will pass through airfield at Phaplu and the bazaar at Salleri. You will see the apple garden passing through Ringmo Khola. After passing Trakshindo Pass, we will reach Nunthala. We will spend the night in a guesthouse here.

Day 6
Trek from Nunthala to Bupsa danda (2360m/7742ft)

After having breakfast, we will continue the walk to Bupsa Danda. We will cross the Dudh Koshi river and walk by the terraced fields. Following the river, we will reach Rai hamlet of Jubing and head towards Khari Khola village and reach Bupsa danda. Overnight in Bupsa.

Day 7
Trek from Bupsa to Chablung/Chheplung (2700m)

Continuing the trail, we will pass through the jungle of monkeys and get to the village of Karte. You will get an amazing view of Mt. Ch Oyu (8135m) and head to Khari la Pass. Then, we will reach Puiyan village passing through the rocky path. Finally, after 7 hrs of the walk, we will reach Chablung and we will stay for the night in a local tea house.

Day 8
Trek from Chablung to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

We will continue the trail after having breakfast. We will cross the Tharo Koshi river and view the beautiful views of Kusum Kanguru (6367m). we will head towards Phakding walking through beautiful mani stones. Our path crosses the river and rhododendron forest. Crossing Kyashar Khola, we will enter Sagarmatha national park. Walking for a few hours, we will reach Namche Bazaar, and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 9
Acclimatization day in Namche

Namche Bazaar is a famous place for trekkers in this region. We will hike towards the Syanboche Airport for the beautiful view around. You will see the beautiful view of Everest. You can also visit the Everest photo gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum. We will return back to the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 10
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3870m/12696ft)

Continuing the trail, we will head towards Tengboche walking for 5 to 6 hrs. the routes are full of scenic views of mountains and forests. Reaching Tengboche, we will also visit the Tengboche Monastery which is situated at an altitude of 3860m surrounded by many mountains. We will spend the night in a guest house at Tengboche.

Day 11
Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m/14304ft)

After having breakfast, we will continue our walk for 5 hrs to reach Dingboche. Our route passes through lmja Khola and head up to Pangboche and reach the famous place called ‘Summer Valley’. Then, we will reach Dingboche which offers you flattering views of Mt. Lhotse, AmaDablam, and the Island peak. Overnight in the guest house at Dingboche.

Day 12
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche 1910m./ 4 hours.

Leaving Dingboche, we will head towards Lobuche walking for 6 hrs. On the way, you will see the trekker aid post for the trekkers. On the way to Khumbu, you will many magnificent mountain views including Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Pumori. Our path is mainly filled with mani stones. Reaching Lobuche, we will check into the guesthouse for the night.

Day 13
Trek from Lobuche to Everest base camp (5310m/1759ft) and back to Gorakshep (5180m)

We will continue the trek for 8 hrs after having breakfast. We will walk for 2 to 3 hrs and reach Gorakshep and enjoy the view of Khumbu glacier. Continuing the walk, we will reach the base camp from where you will get to see them the close and breath-taking view of Everest. Here you will see many trekkers getting ready to climb the Everest. Then, we will return back to Gorakshep following the same path and spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 14
Trek from Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5555m/18188ft) and trek back to Pheriche (4210m)

We will continue the trail and head towards Kalapathar enjoying the mountain views on the way. From Kalapathar, we will trek back to Pheriche. We will be walking for 7 to 8 hrs today. Overnight in a guesthouse at Pheriche.

Day 15
Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche and Namche Bazaar (3443m/11283ft)

Leaving Pheriche, we will head towards Namche Bazaar passing Tengboche. The path full od mountain views and forests will give you peace of mind. We will spend the night in a guesthouse at the Namche Bazaar.

Day 16
Trek from Namche to Lukla via Phakding (2870m/9184ft)

We will continue our last trail to Lukla via Phakding. Our route passes through the Bridge above the Dudh Koshi River. We will spend the night at the hotel around Lukla airport.

Day 17
Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

We will take an early morning flight from Lukla airport to Kathmandu. You will have an amazing experience of mountain and valley views from the flight. After reaching Kathmandu, our representative will drop you at your hotel. We will reach Kathmandu soon so you will have the whole day to spend as per your wish.

Day 18
Departure from Kathmandu

We will arrange a farewell in the traditional Nepali way. Then our representative will drop you at the airport for your departure. In case you want more treks in Nepal you can inform us we will arrange things as per your demand.
