Overview

For the people who want to trek Mt. Everest, Cho-la pass is the best Hobson’s choice for them. The person who had not done trekking yet may find this route a bit challenging with satisfying memories.

 But the person who has done trekking once in their lifetime will relish this adventure. On the lap of the Himalayas Cho-la, the trekking route starts from Lukla taking a side-step to various trekking destinations and again back in Lukla with a bunch of commemorative within them. 

The natural beauty, the rich and unique culture of the Sherpa inhabitants, forest, parade over the snow, crossing high pass provides the heavenly pleasure to the visitors which will be the continuance memory.

 Sagarmatha National Park is the UNESCO listed heritage site where you can find various flora and fauna and wildlife like snow leopard, red panda, Musk deer, snow cook, Blood Pheasant, Red-Billed Caught, etc. The warm greeting and the friendly behavior of the Sherpa people add further pleasure to the visitors.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and to drops you at the hotel.

Day 02: Flight to Lukla 2886m. – Trek to Phakding (2610m) (3 to 3.5 hrs. walk)

Day 03: Trek to Namche (3440m).(6 to 6.5 hrs. walk)

Day 04: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3880m).(5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

Day 06: Trek to Pheriche (4240m). ). (5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

Day 07: Trek to Lobuche (4910m).(5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

Day 08: Trek to Gorakshep (5180m)and  Everest Base Camp (5364m). (8 to 8.5 hrs. walk)

Day 09: Climb up to Kalapathar 5555m and trek downward to Dzongla (3830m).

Day 10: Trek to Thangnang (4700m). Via Chola Pass (5420m)  (7 to 7.5 hrs walk )

Day 11: Trek to Gokyo (4750m) (3 to 3.5 hrs. walk)

Day 12: Explore at Gokyo RI (5357m)

Day 13: Trek to Dole (4130 meters). ( 6 to 6.5 hrs. walk)

Day 14: Trek to Monjo (2835m).

Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2886m).

Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 17: Shopping / Sightseeing day in Kathmandu.

Day 18: Final Departure./extend the stay

Itinerary

Day 1
Pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and drop to you at the hotel.

Once you arrive at the airport you will get the pick-up service by our procurator and they will drop you to the hotel

Day 2
Flight to Lukla 2886m. - Trek to Phakding (2610m) (3 to 3.5 hrs. walk)

From Kathmandu, we will take off to Lukla after having breakfast in Kathmandu. After reaching Lukla we will walk through the mountains toward Phakding viewing the Dudh Koshi ( which tributes to make the biggest river of Nepal ) river originates from the high-altitude areas of Mt. Everest (8848m).

Day 3
Trek to Namche (3440m).(6 to 6.5 hrs. walk)

After one night’s stay in Phakding, we will move to Namche after having our breakfast viewing the beauty of Phakding. Our trekking starts from here. Namche is famous as well as a beautiful place from which we can gaze at Mt. Everest. This is where we crash out for the night with all meals included.

Day 4
Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

We would visit Khumjung where we visit a school established by Hillary in Namche Bazar. We will thumb through various places of Namche Bazar

Day 5
Trek to Tengboche (3880m).(5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

We start our trek towards Tengboche enjoying the astonishing view of Mt. Everest after having breakfast in Namche Bazaar. we can also visit the biggest Buddhist Monastery all over in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at lodge in Tengboche with all meals covered in between the Sherpa community.

Day 6
Trek to Pheriche (4240m). ). (5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

We will have our breakfast and head toward the Pheriche walking 5 to 5.5 hrs. to reach the destination. We will have our dinner and have our stay there.

Day 7
Trek to Lobuche (4910m).(5 to 5.5 hrs. walk)

Heading toward another destination after having our breakfast. We will then have lunch in Duglha. And then a place where there are many stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest. We will climb that.

Day 8
Trek to Gorakshep (5180m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m). (8 to 8.5 hrs. walk)

This day we would have to walk a bit longer because to are heading to Gorakshep after having our breakfast. Reaching Gorakshep we will have our lunch and head toward Everest base camp however we don’t see Mt.Everst from there though. We will spend our night there.

Day 9
Climb up to Kalapathar 5555m. and trek downward to Dzongla (3830m).

After having breakfast we will climb Kalapathar which is at the height of 5550m and have lunch there and trek down to Dzongla 3830m and stay there that night enjoying our meal by looking at the eye-catching beauty of unbelievable Himalayan Panorama the dawn.

Day 10
Trek to Thangnang (4700m). Via Chola Pass (5420m) (7 to 7.5 hrs walk )

Early morning as we get out of the lodge, our eyes would be caught by the mesmerizing sight of Cholatse looming over. After having breakfast we will move toward the destination. Today also we have to walk a long way.

Day 11
Trek to Gokyo (4750m) (3 to 3.5 hrs. walk)

It would be a small walk where we can see the longest glacier. We will explore the Gokyo area all day along with our all-day meals.

Day 12
Explore at Gokyo RI (5357m.)

If the day is fine then we can climb Gokyo Ri and enjoy views of the lovely Everest Region. The Gokyo region not only provides you views of the Gokyo peak. Staying there all exploring the beauty and collecting the memories. Having all-day meals.

Day 13
Trek to Dole (4130 meters). ( 6 to 6.5 hrs. walk)

After having our breakfast we will head to our new destination walking 6 to 6.5 hrs. exploring the mountains taking the thrill of the adventure.

Day 14
Trek to Monjo (2835m).

We would trek toward Monjo after having breakfast in Dole. We will experience the personalized service of the Sherpa people.

Day 15
Trek to Lukla (2886m).

Back to Lukla having the collection of memories of thrill adventure from Monjo

Day 16
Fly to Kathmandu.

After having breakfast we would explore Lukla again and after having lunch we will fly to Kathmandu.

Day 17
Shopping / Sightseeing day in Kathmandu.

Taking rest and start exploring the Kathmandu valley

Day 18
Final Departure./extend the stay
