Chepang Hill Trek is one of the newly opened trekking trails in the Chitwan district. It is a brief and easy adventure for the oppressed ethnic groups. The path begins on the untamed hillsides of Chitwan at moderate heights of Mahabharat. Chepang Hill trek has its sense. Nepal shapes part of an effort to empower poor rural communities in their national development. This initiative is therefore focused on tourism as the guiding principle. Introduction to new regions to boost local communities; socio-economic conditions, while protecting the environment and preventing raising traps of expansion of tourism.

Overview

Chepang Hill trek is situated west of Kathmandu, offers us the chance to walk to high hills, and gradually diminishing rivers. The trekking route is not marketable, but the trail is less crowded. We will live at the Chepang indigenous people throughout our trek. This helps us to engage and study at a micro-level in a special culture and tradition of Chepang people.

The Chepangs are Nepalese indigenous people. The isolation, backward and shy than the other ethnicity, has contributed to its very preserved and intact culture and tradition. The trail features cultural highlights from one of Nepal’s indigenous groups, because of their distinct lifestyle and the remoteness of their home country. This indigenous group is a member of Nepal’s much-marginalizing groups. You have a greater chance of enjoying their primitive culture, festivals, norms, and values. The trek through Chepang Hill also gives you philanthropic satisfaction.

As it plans to lead through the Chepangs homeland and their remote villages. We can generate income opportunities for them and raise awareness among international visitors and Nepalese citizens about the Chepang culture. This trek is easy to moderate level of trekking and trekking on this path requires no prior experience. It can be seen as a series of Himalayan peaks such as Rolwaling, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishanker, Langtang, Manaslu Range, Himalchuli, Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri and stunning sunrise and sunsets during trekking.

With friendly Nepalese hospitality and their smile will make your trek memorable. Chepang hill trek provides a rare mix of unspecified cultural knowledge. You will get to learn a lot more about the life of these lonely jungle people at the end of the trek.
